Delhi Red Fort Blast Live Updates: The National Capital of India, Delhi, suffered a major bomb blast on November 10, 2025 at Red Fort. The explosion killed 8 people with more than 20 injured, according to the officials. As the investigation is underway, authorities have closed the Red Fort for visitors for the next 2 days.
The Delhi police commissioner Satish Golcha said, “At around 6.52 PM, a slow-moving vehicle stopped at the red light. An explosion happened in that vehicle, and due to the explosion, nearby vehicles were also damaged”.
Eyewitnesses, shopkeepers and nearby people shared that the blast was of very high intensity, breaking windows and even the street lights.
The teams of National Security Guard (NSG), the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and various other investigative agencies were rushed to the spot right after the incident. Both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are being regularly briefed about the blast and all the latest updates.
In his first remark after the blast, the home minister mentioned, “This evening, around 7 pm, a blast occurred in a Hyundai i20 car at the Subhash Marg traffic signal near the Red Fort in Delhi. The blast injured some pedestrians and damaged some vehicles. Preliminary reports indicate that some people have lost their lives.”

Delhi Red Fort Blast Live Update: Israel extends condolences on Delhi blast
Israel’s minister of foreign affairs, Gideon Sa’ar, has shared their condolences to the families of the victims killed in a blast near the Red Fort. Isreal’s Foreign Ministry mentioned, “I extend my & Israel’s deepest condolences to the People of India and especially to the families of the innocent victims killed in the blast at the heart of Delhi. Wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded. Israel stands with India in its fight against terror.”

The Hyundai i20 car which exploded near Red Fort on November 10, 2025 was parked two hours before at the Sunehri Masjid parking lot before the explosion. The explosion killed 13 people, while several others are getting treated for serious injuries.

Delhi Red Fort Blast Live Update: Delhi Car being probed under the UAPA law
The November 10 blast at Red Fort is being probed under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. This act is India’s main anti-terrorism law and is used to investigate and prosecute acts related to “terrorism” and activities that threaten the sovereignty and integrity of the country.
Delhi Police mentioned, “A case has been registered under sections 16, 18 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and various sections of the Explosives Act and the BNS at the Kotwali Police Station.”
