In light of the rising concern of Air Pollution in the Delhi NCR region, the National Capital Region (NCR), authorities in Noida, Greater Noida, and Gurugram have allowed school authorities to continue their classes in a hybrid format for students up to Class 5. The decision has been taken to safeguard young students while ensuring continuity in education.
Gurugram
Based on the directions given by the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM), the Deputy Commissioner of Gurugram has announced that all the schools can now opt for the hybrid model for students upto class 5.

This move involves strict actions taken by the governments along the implementation of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP).
“In view of the deteriorating air quality and as per the directions of the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) under Stage-III (Severe Air Quality), classes for students up to Class V in all schools of Gurugram district will now be conducted in Hybrid Mode — both Offline and Online (wherever feasible),” mentioned officials.
Noida/ Greater Noida
Following the rising criticism from parents over the deteriorating air condition the District Magistrate Medha Roopam, Gautam Budh Nagar, announced that all the schools must conduct their classes upto class 5th in online and hybrid modes.
The decision has come after following the past trends of pollution and registering the “severe” category (408) for the second consecutive day in Noida while Greater Noida recorded “very poor” level of 388.
