The UGC NET June 2026 exam was conducted in computer-based mode on June 22, 23, 24, 25, 29 and 30, with a retest held on July 5, 2026, to determine eligibility for Assistant Professor positions, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and PhD admissions across 87 subjects. The question paper consists of 300 marks in total, with 100 questions in Paper 1 and 50 questions in Paper 2.
