Not every university works the same way when it comes to declaring and publishing results. A central university like Sikkim University or HNBGU follows UGC-driven timelines. A state open university like YCMOU has a completely different portal structure than a full-time state university like Mumbai University. And private universities often run their own independent ERP systems with no connection to any state result portal at all.
This page groups every university I cover by type, so you can quickly find the right category – and the right result page – instead of guessing which portal applies to your university. If you’re not sure which type your university falls under, that’s normal; most students never need to know until something like revaluation or a name mismatch forces the question. Each listing below links straight to the full result guide for that university.

Central Universities
Central universities are established by an Act of Parliament and funded directly by the UGC/Ministry of Education. Their result systems are usually more standardised, but each still runs its own portal.

The largest category. Each is established by a state legislature act and reports to that state’s higher education department. Portal architecture varies enormously even within the same state.

Private Universities (State-Chartered)
Terminology note worth keeping in the copy: these are private universities established under a state private-university act – not “deemed-to-be” universities. A deemed university gets its status directly from the UGC under Section 3 of the UGC Act; a private university is chartered by a state legislature. None of the universities currently covered on Resulthood are deemed universities, so avoid using “deemed” loosely for this group.
